In a frenzy, eyes buckle up for truth,
With every image, chaotically snapped from the world,
They gather more, in hollow chambers,
The echo, reminds us all that reality,
As beautiful and coherent as it is,
Cannot pierce our more secluded corners.

In their desperate attempt to see,
Our eyes look  inward, revolving in their sockets,
For a moment of light,
Reflection of fear.

Fear brakes the matrix of the truth,
Each bond, weakened, each fiber, strained.
Light is scarce, we live mostly in darkness,
Moments in sight are precious as thoughts.

Resist the call for blindness,
The easy slip, eternal slumber,
Resist and you will see your light,
With others, you’ll be brighter.
